Hangpan Dada Memorial Football & Volleyball begins today

SEPPA: Minister-Sports & Youth Affairs Mama Natung informed that more than 1600 players from the entire districts of Arunachal Pradesh are participating in the ongoing 4th U-18 State Level Hangpan Dada Memorial Football & Volleyball (Boys & Girls) Trophy 2019-20 at Seppa.

Speaking to the reporters, Natung assured all basic facilities to the players from food to lodging. “We don’t have many hotels to accommodate all the players and management teams in the district. So we have designated various schools, hostels, and Hotels for the players as sports village with all the basic amenities’ he added while informing that authority is giving special care of potable water and Sanitary napkins for the girl’s players.

He also added that the district administration along with the other three constituency lawmakers Tapuk Taku, Hayang Mangfi and Goruk Pordung will be monitoring over the preparation. “Moreover, we have personally visited various accommodation areas and had lunch with the players to assure about the meals and facilities,” Natung said.

Minister for Sports & Youth Affairs Mama Natung will officially launch the tournament on January 14 in General Ground Seppa. The East Kameng is hosting the 4th Under-18 State Level Hangpan Dada Football & Volleyball (Boys and Girls) Trophy in four different grounds of Seppa, General Ground-Seppa, Government Higher Secondary School Ground Bebo Colony, JNV Seppa, and St. Joseph School ground, New Seppa.
