Haryana upset Railways in a well contested game

GUWAHATI: Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Services and Haryana stormed into the semi final in the men's category of the 71st Senior national Volleyball Championship at the Nabin Chandra Bordoloi Indoor Stadium here on Tuesday. Rajasthan defeated Karnataka by 25-19, 23-25, 29-27 and 25-18. Haryana upset Railways in a well contested game 23-25, 25-23, 17-25, 25-22 and 15-8. Tamil Nadu won against Jharkhand by 30-31, 25-21, 25-22 and 25-23. Services booked their berth in the semi final defeating Punjab 18-25, 25-20, 23-25, 25-13 and 15-13. In the women's category Kerala, West Bengal and Rajasthan entered into the last-four of the competition. In the quarter final Kerala beat Haryana by 25-14, 25-17 and 25-15. Rajasthan won against Himachal Pradesh 26-28, 25-23, 25-27, 25-23 and 15-10. West Bengal in the other game defeated Chandigarh by 25-18, 25-17 and 25-22.
