GUWAHATI: Bengaluru FC will take on NorthEast United FC in a ISL tie at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium on Sunday. Both the sides faced each other in the ISL 14 times and Bengaluru won 8 occasions. NEUFC registered two victories and the remaining four games ended as a draw.
NorthEast United FC head coach Juan Pedro Benali addressing the media said, “We are playing against a tough team. They have many players in the national team, very good foreign players and also have a great coach. It’s a tough team to play against.”
Bengaluru FC head coach Simon Grayson felt NorthEast United FC are a completely different team from last year, both on and off the pitch. “We just have to make sure that we perform to the level that we can do. We have got good players, they have got a good squad, so being respectful of the opposition, we know what we have to do and hopefully that can get us three points,” said Simon.
