ITF World Junior Ranking Tennis Tournament Qualifying Round Begins

GUWAHATI: The qualifying round matches of the ITF World Junior Ranking Tennis Tournament for boys and girls U-18 years has started today at the All Assam Tennis Association Complex, Chachal, Guwahati. Three players from Assam got wild cards in the qualifying round of the boys singles event. They are Andy Thaosen, Arunesh Bora and Anchit Gogoi. In the girl's event also three players, Justina Borgohain, Tanishqa Patar and Harshita Borah got wild cards in the qualifying round. Arunesh, Tanishqa, and Justina won their respective matches today. The final qualifying round matches will be completed tomorrow and the main draw matches will kick off from November 18.
