JK Baruah Cricket Lakhimpur, Bokakhat Win in Guwahati's Nehru Stadium

GUWAHATI: Lakhimpur won by virtue of the first innings lead against Jorhat in the JK Baruah Cricket at the Nehru Stadium here today. Lakhimpur scored 229 in the first innings and restricted Jorhat 143 in their first innings. Leg spinner Rebat Gohain of Lakhimpur picked up 6-43. Lakhimpur were 53-2 in their second innings when the match came to an end.

At Amingaon Stadium, Bokakhat defeated Rangia on the basis of the first innings lead. In reply to Rangia's first innings total 135, Bokakhat bowled out 344 in the first innings. Bikash Sharma (78) and Bam Bam Thakur (50 no) scored half centuries. Rangia were 97-5 in their second innings when the match concluded.
