Kamrup emerge champion in All Assam Swimming Championship

GUWAHATI: Kamrup emerged champion in the All Assam Swimming Championship which concluded at the Sarusajai Sports complex yesterday.

The winner altogether collected 42 gold, 54 silver and 51 bronze medal and finished the competition collecting 423 points. Jorhat came second with 30 gold, 21 silver and 32 bronze medal. Sivasagar with 19 gold, 14 silver and 7 bronze took the third spot.

Best swimmers in different categories: group V Boys:Shaurya Changmai (Sivasagar). Girls: Anwesha Khanikar (Sivasagar). Group IV Boys: Manash Pratim Baishya (Kamrup). Girls: Jahnavi Changmai (Kamrup). Group III Boys: Sanskar Bhuyan (Jorhat), Girls: Arhee Buragohain (Sivasagar). Group II Boys: Md Reehan Mirza (Kamrup). Girls: Jahnabi Kashyap (Kamrup). Group I Boys: Bhargav Phukan (Team Assam). Shivangi Sarma (Team Assam). Group Open Boys: Bijit Deka (Kamrup).
