Lachit Borphukan Volleyball Meet Held at Dinjan Military Station

KOHIMA: Lachit Borphukan Volleyball Tournament was organised by the troops of Indian Army from November 9 to 14 at Dinjan Military Station.

Eight Teams from Muluk Gaon, Terai, Dibrugarh, Panitola, Bishnujyoti VC, Dinjan KV, Dolphin club and a team from Army took part in the Tournament which witnessed intense competition between the teams. An exhibition match between Army Team and Civil Team was also organised during the prize distribution ceremony. The Lachit Borphukan Volleyball event was witnessed by large number of spectators including prominent local personalities and senior Army officers. The initiative garnered appreciation from the population with numerous requests for more such events in the future.
