GUWAHATI: A goal at the dying stage of the game helped Rajbari Club to avoid defeat against Sunrise club in the GSA RG Baruah Super Division Soccer League match held at the Nehru stadium here today. The match between the two sides ended 1-1 draw.

Rajbari, who were promoted to the Super Division last year, was trailed by a solitary goal in the first half. However in the second half they made several attempts to return the goal and finally got it just two minutes before the final whistle. The side was earned a corner kick in the 88th minutes and Rajen changed the direction of the ball towards goal with a nice head.

Earlier Sunrise took just seven minutes to score the first goal of the match. The goal was one of the best one in this edition of the league and entire credit should go to Sanatomba Sarma. His curling shot crossed the goal line in air from lest before came out. Linesman signalled the goal.

With this match the second round of the Super Division League came to an end. Rajbari collected first point today from their second outings while Sunrise, who also played two-game, took their points tally to four. ASEBSC, Navajyoti and AP Blues too collected four points each from their two outings.
