National Cycling to begin from Dec 11 at LNIPE complex, Tapesia

GUWAHATI: The 74th Senior, 51st Junior and 37th Sub Junior National Track Cycling Championship for men and women will be held at LNIPE complex, Tapesia from December 11. Addressing a media gathering the secretary of the Cycling Association of Assam Tapan Das said that around 600 cyclists, including international medal winners like Ronaldo Singh, Chayanika Gogoi, from 28 States and 8 Union Territories will take part in the competition.

He also added that Assam will put a 34 members team (18 men, 16 women) in the meet. Olympic medallist Lovlina Borgohain also attended the media conference where she released the theme song of the competition.
