ND24 lift 2nd North East Media T20 Cricket Championship title

GUWAHATI: ND24 lifted the 2nd North East Media T20 Cricket Championship defeating Pratidin Time by 8 wickets in the final at Judges Field on Tuesday. Electing to bat first, Pratidin Time were bundled out for 79 in 19.2 overs. Ranjit Changmai and Amrit Giri took 3 wickets each while Raj Hussain grabbed two. Nayan Pratim Kumar scored 26. ND 24 reached the small target in 11.3 overs losing 2 wickets. Amrit made 42 while Ranjit remained unbeaten at 27.

Ex Ranji cricketers Rajesh Bora & Nasir Gul Khan, Editor-in-chief of Pratidin Time Nitumoni Saikia, CMD of ND 24 Kishor Bora, President of Guwahati Press Club Manoj Nath along with secretary Sanjoy Roy were present in the closing ceremony.

Shillong Press Club won the Best Emerging Team award while Barak Media Association received the Best Discipline Team award.

Man of the Match- Amrit Giri

Man of the Series- Ranjit Changmai,

Best Batsman- Bimal Rongpi

Best Bowler- Tanmoy Dey.
