NFRSA to face Rangiya in opening game of the Nuruddin Senior Inter District Cricket championship match

GUWAHATI: NFRSA will take on Rangiya in their opening game of the Nuruddin Senior Inter District Cricket championship match of Head Quarter Zone in Guwahati. The two-day match will kick off on June one.

The championship, which was postponed because of inclement weather, will begin on June one in different venues of the state. NFRSA Stadium, Judges Field in Guwahati and Goalpara will organize the matches of Head Quarter Zones where four teams will play each other in group stage to earn next round berth. The other teams in the group are Guwahati and Goalpara. Guwahati will start its campaign on June 3 against Goalpara.

The schedule of other opening round matches: June 1: Lower Assam (Barpeta)-Barpeta vs North Salmara, (Bongaigaon)-Bongaigaon vs Nalbari. June 1: Northern Assam Zone (Biswanath Chariali): Biswanath Chariali vs Lakhimpur, (Tezpur)-Udalguri vs Tezpur. Central Assam zone: June 1:(Nagaon)-Nagaon vs Hojai, (Bokakhat): Golaghat vs Titabor. Southern Assam: June 1: (Silchar): Silchar vs Lakhipur. (Karimganj): Hailakandi vs Dima Hasao. June 1: Upper Assam zone-(Charaideo)- Charaideo vs Tinsukia, June 3:(Jorhat)-Dibrugarh vs Jorhat.
