North East Inter Media Cricket Championship: Asomiya Khabar, Asomiya Pratidin win

GUWAHATI: Asomiya Khabar and Asomiya Pratidin won their respective matches in the North East Inter Media Cricket Championship held at the Judges ground here today. In the first game of the day Asomiya Khabar defeated Dainik Janambhumi by 7 wickets. Govinda Rajbonshi (75) and Amit Das (50) of Asomiya Khabar scored half century in the match. In the other game Asomiya Pratidin beat Prag Channel by 6 runs. Parthiv Hazarika of winning team played an unbeaten knock of 63 runs.
