Nuruddin Senior Inter District Cricket: Silchar take full control against Lakhimpur

GUWAHATI: Silchar are on the verge to book a ticket for the final of the Nuruddin Senior Inter District Cricket. The side, rode on two century knocks from Parvez Musaraf and Sunzow Brahma, scored 324-4 in their first innings against Lakhimpur in the second semi final at the Amingaon Stadium and were leading by 162 runs at stumps on day II.

Silchar, started the day’s proceeding from their overnight score 88-0, lost opener Manash Gogoi (43) very early part of the day. But Parvez and Sunzow thereafter batted beautifully and added 176 runs on the second wicket partnership. Parvez faced 232 balls to score 121 with the help of 10 boundaries and 2 sixes. Sunzow took 125 balls to score 110 and he smashed 15 boundaries and three sixes.
