Sports organizer Rituparna Baruah passes away

GUWAHATI: Sports organizer Rituparna Baruah passed away in a city nursing home here today. He was 40 years old and left behind wife and two daughters. Baruah, the general secretary of the Majuli District Sports Association, was also the advisor of Majuli District Cricket Association. He was actively associated with different social organizations too. The president and secretary of Assam Cricket Association Romen Dutta and Devajit Saikia had condoled the death of Baruah.
