Triple crown for Parthiv Kalita in All Assam Tennis Association Championship

GUWAHATI: Parthiv Kalita of Assam bagged the triple crown in the AITA Championship Series Tennis Tournament for boys and girls under 16 and 18 years that concluded at the All Assam Tennis Association complex here today. Parthiv won titles in Boys U-16 and 18 singles along with U-16 boys doubles.

In a brief prize distribution ceremony trophy and the certificates were distrusted by AATA Secretary Ankush Dutta, Former OIL India Technocrat and tennis player Rajib Rajkhowa and AATA Treasurer Swapnil Borthakur.

Final Results: Girls Singles Under 16:Arnavi Debnath (AS) Beat Yashasvi Sharma (WB) 6-1, 6-0. Girls Singles Under 18: Tania Kumari (AS) Beat Arnavi Debnath (AS) 1-6, 7-5, 6-3. Boys Singles Under 16: Parthiv Kalita (AS) Beat Twijilang Debbarma (TR) 7-6(5), 6-2. Boys Singles Under 18: Parthiv Kalita (AS) bt Subhasish Roy (AS) 6-3, 6-4. Boys Doubles Under 16: Chandogya T Pathak (AS) / Parthiv Kalita (AS) Beat Shriyansh K Sahani (WB) / Sankalp K Sahani (WB) 6-1, 6-1. Boys Doubles Under 18: Ritik Rout (AS) / Riyan Kashyap (AS) Beat Rithik Roshan (TN) / Ramanuj Talukdar 6-1, 6-0. Girls Doubles Under 18: Nabiha Moriyam (AS) / Soni Prajapati (UP) Beat Namrata Das (AS) / Anshita Shukla (AS) 6-3, 4-6, 10-8.
