Udit Gogoi in Semi-finals of ITF World Junior Ranking Tennis Tournament

GUWAHATI: 2nd Seed Udit Gogoi of Assam thrown out Sam Chawla (IND) in straight sets 6-3, 6-3 to reach the boys U-18 singles semi-final in the ongoing ITF World Junior Ranking Tennis Tournament at the All Assam Tennis Association Complex in Guwahati today. In the girls U-18 singles quarter-finals Kristi Boro of Assam lost to 5th seed Reshma Murari 6-0, 6-2. In a major upset today in the girls U-18 singles quarter-finals unseeded Lakshnya Vishwanath (IND) defeated top seed Sarah Dev (IND) 7-6(5), 6-3.
