NE Shooting In Guwahati From September 10

GUWAHATI: Guwahati will host the 9th North East Zone Shooting Championship from September 10. The 4-day competition will be held at the Sports shooting Range, 4th AP Bn Complex, Kahilipara.

Addressing a media gathering the president of the Assam Rifle and Shooting Association Diganta Borah said that nearly 260 shooters from various parts of the North East will participate in the tournament. There will be altogether eight events and these are:10mtr Air Pistol, 10mtr Air Rifle, 25mtr Standard Pistol, 25mtr Sports Pistol, 25 mtr Centre Fire Pistol, 50mts Sports Rifle Prone, 50mt Three Position and 50mtr Free Pistol Men. Assam will put a huge 82 shooters team in the competition. The media briefing was also attended by the general secretary of the Assam Rifle and Shooting Association Bhaba Kalita.
