New feat for Babul Gurung, Kasturi Gogoi

Guwahati: Swimming coach from Assam Babul Gurung and his trainee Kasturi Gogoi, a 10 years old swimmer, successfully swam from Munar Island, Sri Lanka to Archul Mulai (Tamil Nadu) yesterday. Both the swimmers took nearly 13 hours and 50 minutes to cross the entire stretch. Kasturi, a medal winner in National Sea Swimming championship, becomes first swimmer from Assam to swim from Sri Lanka to India.
