Rahul wins first medal for Assam in Khelo India

Assam won first medal in the Khelo India Youth Games through Rahul Kumar Chouhan. Rahul, participated in the 60 kg event of Thang-Ta style I, bagged a silver medal.

Meanwhile, Tonmoy Baruah of Assam moved into the next round in Badminton defeating Vikash Yadav of Delhi by 21-15 and 21-10. The competition got under way at Panchkula, Haryana today. More than 4,000 athletes are participating in the Games.
