New Delhi: Christiano Ronaldo once expressed his disapproval and didn't want Antonio Conte--the former Italian player--to return to Juventus as manager.

According to a report in sports mole, Ronaldo didn't want him on the hot seat of Juventus after Massimiliano Allegri's departure.

The 52-year-old is rumoured to be Manchester United's number one in-charge, along with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who is now believed to be in danger of being sent off.

Conte was briefly linked with a return to Juventus from Allegri before joining Inter Milan in 2019, with Andrea Pirlo hiring Maurizio Sarri before taking over.

According to another report, two years ago, Ronaldo was against the idea of Conte returning. The report also said that the latter was also unconvinced with the defensive style of play suggested by Conte's.

During his time in Italy with Juve and Inter, Conte won four Scudettos.
