Assam Shooter Hriday Hazarika Wins Gold in Khelo India University Games

GUWAHATI: Assam shooter Hriday Hazarika bagged the gold medal in the 10m Air Rifles event in the Khelo India University Games at Karni Singh Shooting Range in Delhi today. The shooter, who represented Cotton College University in the Games, scored 252.2 on way to win the gold medal. Hriday looked very confident today in the range and except for the first two rounds he was always ahead of his opponents and finally ended the campaign staying at top.

Arjun Babuta (GKU, 230) and Pratham Bhadana (CCSU, 209.6 ) finished second and third respectively. It may be mentioned here that Hriday recently bagged a silver medal at the Baku World Cup.
