State weightlifters win medals in the National Weightlifting Championship

Guwahati: Two weightlifters from Assam bagged medals in the National Weightlifting Championship held at Bhubaneswar today. Madhusmita Baruah collected a bronze medal in senior National Weightlifting championship and a silver in Inter State Weightlifting meet. She participated in the 87kg category. Dimpy Dutta, other weightlifter from Assam, bagged a bronze medal in the Inter State Weightlifting Championship. She too took part in 87 kg category.
