TRIPURA: Dipa Karmakar, a highly skilled gymnast hailing from Tripura, staged an impressive return by clinching three medals at the Senior Artistic Gymnastics National Championship in Bhubaneswar. The championship took place at the Gymnastics Centre located within Kalinga Stadium where Karmakar exhibited her exceptional prowess on day three of the tournament.

After taking an eight-year hiatus from competitive gymnastics, Olympian Dipa Karmakar showcased her exceptional skills by clinching the Gold in the All-around category. She also earned Silver medals for both Vault and Uneven Bars events at the women's competition – a testament to her successful comeback in national gymnastics.

Pranati Das from Railways was the highlight of the gymnastics extravaganza, demonstrating exceptional skills and shining as a star in the competition. With gold medals earned in uneven bars and floor exercise, Pranati showcased her versatility with incredible talent. In addition to these achievements, she also claimed second place overall for women's events - yet another achievement to add to her growing list of accomplishments.
