Two-day Boxing Workshop begins

GUWAHATI: Two-day day boxing workshop for Coaches and Technical Officials got under way at the Bhogeswari Phukanani Indoor Stadium here today. The event was jointly organized by Sports Authority of Assam and Assam Amateur Boxing Association.

Dharma Kanta Mili, Director, Sports and Youth Welfare was the chief guest in the inaugural function which was also attended by Kali Kanta Boro, President, Assam Amateur Boxing Association and Sanjeev Gogoi, Liaison Officer, Sports Authority of Assam.

Bhaskar Bhatt, head coach of Indian Women Youth Team, Narendra Nirman, Chairman, Ring Official Commission, BFI along with several other experts are attending the workshop and impart training to the local coaches and officials.
