6TH CSOIA Premier League Badminton Tournament Comes to an End

GUWAHATI: The Civil Services Officers' Institute of Assam has held its prestigious annual event, the 6th CSOIA Premier League on its own premises located in the Assam Administrative Staff College Campus in Khanapara of Guwahati. The tournament was participated by all senior Officers (both serving & retired) of various cadres and their family members.

There were a total of 116 matches being played in various categories such as Men Singles, Men Doubles, Women Singles, Women Doubles, Mixed Doubles, Children Singles & Children Doubles in two days, that is on January 28 and 29 2023. Honourable Chief Secretary to Government of Assam, Shri Paban Kumar Borthakur, IAS inaugurated the tournament and Additional Chief Secretaries, Shri Syedain Abbasi, IAS and Dr Ashish Kumar Bhutani, IAS awarded the winners with their respected trophies. Principal Secretaries to the Government of Assam, Shri Avinash Joshi, IAS & Shri Niraj Verma, IAS has expressed gratitude to all the sponsors of the tournament. The sponsors of the tournament are APDCL, ASDMA, ARIAS Society, AIDC & ICICI Bank.

The CSOIA was set up to promote the welfare of the officers of the Civil Services and to bring them together in order to secure complete integration of the services and to build a corps of officers imbibed with the spirit of cooperation in all aspects of Civil Services.
