Shuttler Ashmita Chalina gets direct entry in the forthcoming Master BWF Super100 Badminton Championship

GUWAHATI: Shuttler Ashmita Chalina will be the lone player from the State who received direct entry in the forthcoming Master BWF Super100 Badminton Championship which will begin in Guwahati from December 7.

Shuttlers from 19 countries will take part in the championship which will be held at the Karmabir Nabin Chandra Bordoloi Indoor Stadium in the city. The qualifying round of the competition will kick off on December 5 and three Assam shuttlers- Isharani Baruah, Arijit and Suraj Gowala- will fight to earn a main round berth.
