INDORE: The Indian cricket fans were waiting for a miracle to happen in the 3rd test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy that took place in the Holkar Stadium of Indore, but it never came as the Australian team managed to win a comprehensive victory in the match.

The Indian team did not look like it was in form since the very first day of the third test match. They were bowled out for just 109 runs in the first innings. The Australian team scored a total of 197 runs in their first innings. Trailing by 88 runs, India was bowled out again at the score of 163 runs and the Australian team scored the required runs with the loss of just one wicket.

The first innings score was the Indian team’s 14th-lowest total at home in test cricket and fourth-lowest against Australia at home in one inning. Umesh Yadav's fiery 17 from 13 deliveries managed to crawl the Indian score over the 100-run mark. The followings are some of the lowest totals of India against Australia in test cricket at home.
