IPL 2022: Predicted Most Expensive Players 11 From Auction

In the mega auction of IPL 2022 scheduled to be held on Saturday and Sunday, 590 players will go under the hammer as shortlisted by BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India).

10 teams are meant to be competing with each other to get the services of 200 odd players including 70 players from foreign countries. The 10 teams could only retain 33 players which means many of the deserving players are yet to be hired for the grand auction.

Here are the list of11 players including All-rounders, Bowlers and Batters who are expected to be the highest-paid in IPL 2022 Auction:

All-rounders:

1. Mitchell Marsh – INR 13 Crore

Mitchell Marsh seems to be an expensive all-rounder to look for in IPL 2022 Auction as it is likely that Marsh to fetches close to INR 13 Crore from the Mega Auction and a total of 6 franchises CSK, PBKS, RR, RCB, SRH & Delhi Capitals will be after him.

2. Odean Smith – INR 10.5 Crore

The hard-hitting all-rounder from the West Indies, Odean Smith is expected to be one of the hottest players in the IPL 2022 Auction. The teams like Delhi Capitals, PBKS, RR, RCB and SRH are expected to go after him.

3. Washington Sundar – INR 9 Crore

A bowling all-rounder Washington Sundar is also an expensive player for the event as he is expected to acquire INR 9 Crore. Teams like MI, PBKS, RR, SRH, RCB and LSG will be after him.

Bowlers:

4. Shardul Thakur – INR 10 Crore

Shardul Thakur will be a treat to watch as he is expected to be the very expensive bowler who provides quick runs down the order. The teams CSK, KKR, PBKS, RR, RCB, SRH, LSG, Delhi Capitals and Gujarat Titans will be after him,

5. Harshal Patel – INR 11.5 Crore

Harshal will be the most expensive Indian bowler in the Auction of 2-day. The teams of CSK, KKR, PBKS, RR, RCB, SRH, LSG & Gujarat Titans will be after him.

6. Kagiso Rabada – INR 9.5 Crore

Kagiso Rabada has been a consistent performer as a bowler in IPL and he will be the hottest overseas pacer in IPL 2022 Auction. Apart from Delhi Capitals, almost all the other teams need a solid pacer. CSK, KKR, PBKS, RR, RCB, SRH, LSG, Delhi Capitals & Gujarat Titans will be the potential targets.

Top orders:

7. Shikhar Dhawan – INR 11 Crore

Batter Shikhar Dhawan might be expecting a higher amount as has been a valuable player in IPL who scored 500 Runs continuously. CSK, KKR, RCB, SRH, Delhi Capitals, and Gujarat Titans will be after him

8. Quinton de Kock – INR 10 Crore

Quinton de Kock who is a wicket-keeper and an attacking opener is likely to be another player with high demand. The teams like KKR, MI, PBKS, RCB, SRH, and Gujarat Titans will be after him.

9. David Warner – INR 12.5 Crore

David Warner, a strong leader is regarded as one of the most consistent overseas players in the IPL and he will be the hottest property in the Auction. Two important criteria separate Warner. Teams like KKR, PBKS, and RCB will be after him.

Other Batters:

10. Shreyas Iyer – INR 14.5 Crore

Shreyas Iyer known for his captaincy would be in high demand in IPL Auction. The teams with no leader at present like KKR and RCB will go after Iyer.

11. Ishan Kishan – INR 16 Crore

Ishan Kishan who is an explosive batter and Indian wicket-keeper will be valuable in this year's IPL Auction. 6 teams that include KKR, MI, PBKS, RCB, SRH and Gujarat Titans will be after him.

The IPL 2022 Auction will be available to watch live on Sports Channels like Star Sports 3 and Star Sports HD and Digital Media Platforms to live stream the event is Disney plus Hotstar. The IPL auction this year is probably the biggest auction since the IPL's inception in 2008.
