Match Fixing Allegation ACA Verdict Soon

Guwahati: The Assam Cricket Association (ACA) today heard the complaint regarding the alleged match fixing during the recent JK Baruah Inter District Cricket held at Golaghat. The ACA is likely to give the verdict within a couple of days.

Silchar DSA recently lodged a complaint on the alleged match fixing during a tie between Jorhat and NFRSC which exited Silchar from the competition. On the basis of the complaint, ACA today organized a meeting to hear the views of team officials. Captains, managers and coaches of all the three teams and the match officials were present in the meeting along with the members of Apex Council of ACA. 'The verdict is expected within two days,' an official of ACA said.
