BHUBANESWAR: Odisha FC defeated Bengaluru FC 1-0 and climbed to the top of the Hero Indian Super League (ISL) with nine points at the Kalinga Stadium here on Thursday.

Nandhakumar Sekar scored a belter in the 33rd minute, and it turned out to be the game's only goal. This was Sekar's second Hero ISL goal and also his second against Bengaluru FC in the Hero ISL.

Josep Gombau made one change to the side that defeated Kerala Blasters. Raynier Fernandes replaced Isaac Chhakchhuak in the Odisha FC midfield. Simon Grayson changed the Blues' starting formation for the first time in the Hero ISL this season. Alan Costa and Javier Hernandez were replaced by Leon Augustine and Roy Krishna as Bengaluru FC switched to a four-man defence. IANS
