GCFC to participate in IWL qualifiers

GUWAHATI, Jan 16: Guwahati City FC (GCFC) will participate in the Hero Indian Women's League (IWL) 2021-22 Qualifiers. It will be the first occasion when a women team from Assam will take part in this competition. Guwahati City FC formed its Women's Football Team last year with twin objectives of developing the women's game and represents the state in the IWL. Several promising girl Footballers are also getting trained in the GCFC Football Academy.
