Junior National women football championship begins today at the Indira Gandhi Athletics Stadium

GUWAHATI: Two semi finals of the Junior National women football championship will be held at the Indira Gandhi Athletics Stadium here tomorrow. In the first semi final Bihar will face Haryana from 9 AM. Arunachal Pradesh will clash against Dadra & Nagar Haveli from 3PM. Haryana is the only team among the four semi finalists who appeared in the final earlier. They defeated West Bengal in the quarter final on way to make a place in the semi final. Arunachal Pradesh, the lone survivor from the North East in the competition, entered the semi final beating Chhattisgarh by a solitary goal. Bihar surprised Manipur with 3-2 victory in the quarter final. Dadra & Nagar Haveli also upset Kerala in the last quarters by 4-0.
