Junior Women's National Football Championship final today

GUWAHATI: Bihar will take on Dadra & Nagar Haveli in the final of the Junior Women's National Football Championship at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium here tomorrow. The match will kick off at 3-00 PM.

Bihar entered into the final beating Haryana by 3-1 in the first semi final. Dadra and Nagar Haveli beat Arunachal Pradesh in the other semi final by 5-0. It will be the maiden appearance for both the sides in the title clash of the championship.

If goal scoring ability counts then Bihar will definitely enter into the ground with a little edge over Dadra & Nagar Haveli tomorrow. The side played good soccer throughout the tournament and their striking zone really delivered well in all the matches. While Bihar altogether scored 36 goals in their previous six Games Dadra & Nagar Haveli netted 23 goals from their six matches. Bihar also upset last year runners up Manipur in the quarter final

However Dadra and Nagar Haveli should now be more confident after their good show in the quarter final and semi final which they won 4-0 (vs Kerala) and 5-0 (vs Arunachal Pradesh).

Lucky Kumari of Bihar is leading the highest scorer chart with 13 goals.
