Young Amateur lift GSA B Division League title

Guwahati: Young Amateur Club emerged Champion in the GSA B Division Football League at the Nehru Stadium here today. In the final, Young Amateur Club defeated Sporting Union Club 12-11 through sudden death after schedule time and tie break failed to produce any result. Each team took 'record' 18 shots to decide the fate of the game. Former President of the GSA Munin Nabis and Vice President of the GSA Dilip Kumar Dutta Choudhury gave away the prizes.

Meanwhile in a C Division match held today, Chandmari SC defeated SG Club 3-0. In another match, North East United FC thrashed Legends Sporting Club 8-0.
