Aayush-Aman, Sreenidhi-Charmi win titles in ITF Juniors Tennis Tournament

GUWAHATI: Aayush P Bhat of USA and Aman Dahia of India lifted the doubles crown in the boys U-18 event of the ongoing ITF Juniors Tennis Tournament at the All Assam Tennis Association complex here today. In the girls U-18 event Sreenidhi Balaji and Charmi Gopinath of India won the doubles title.

Results: Boys Singles U- 18 (Semi final): Hanu Patel (USA) Beat Luc Wieland (SUI) 6-3, 7-5. Krish Tyagi (IND) Beat Ayush P Bhat (USA) 2-6, 6-2, 6-4.

Girls Singles U- 18 (Semi final): Sonal Patil (IND) Beat Maya Boonyaaroonnet (THA) 6-2, 6-0; Margot Phanthala (FRA) Beat Prisha Nikhil Shinde (IND) 6-0, 6-3. Boys Doubles U- 18 (final): Aayush P Bhat (USA) / Aman Dahiya (IND) Beat Aleksandar Daskalovic (SRB) / Luc Weiland (SUI) 4-6, 6-3, 10-5. Girls Doubles U- 18 (final): Sreenidhi Balaji (IND) / Charmi Gopinath (IND) Beat Sonal Patil (IND) / Margot Phanthala (FRA) 6-3, 5-7, 10-7.
