AITA Championship Series Tennis meet concludes; Triple Crown for Tania

Guwahati: Tania Kumari of Assam lifted the triple crown in the AITA Championship Series Tennis Tournament U-16 and U-18 which concluded at the All Assam Tennis Association Complex in the city today. She won the girls U-16 U-18 singles titles and the girls U-18 double title. Antariksh Tamuly, also from Assam, won the double crown by lifting the boys U-16 singles and U-18 doubles titles.

Final results: Boys U-18 singles: Manav Hariraj (KA) Beat Manan Nath (AS) 6-4, 6-1. Girls U-18 singles: Tania Kumari (AS) Beat Bishnupriya Borgohain (AS) 6-1, 6-2. Boys U-16 singles: Antariksh Tamuly (AS) Beat Parthiv Kalita (AS) 6-2, 6-2. Girls U16 singles: Tania Kumari (AS) Beat Adrika Rajkumari (AS) 6-2, 6-0. Boys U16 doubles: Riyan Kashyap (AS) / Raunak Kashyap (AS) Beat Chandogya T Pathak (AS) /Shriyansh K. Sahani (WB) 0-6, 6-3, 10-3. Boys doubles U-18: Manan Nath (AS) / Antariksh Tamuly (AS) Beat Manav Hariraj (KA) / Akhil Mattaparthi (MH) 7-5, 6-4. Girls doubles U-18: Tania Kumari (AS) / Tanishqa Patar (AS) Beat Anshita Shukla (AS) / Bishnupriya Borgohain (AS) 6-1, 6-3.
