Guwahati: AITA Championship Series Tennis Final To Be Played Today

Guwahati: Antariksh Tamuly of Assam will fight for the title with statemate Parthiv Kalita in the U-16 Boys final of the AITA Championship Series Tennis at the Chachal Tennis complex here tomorrow.

The girls U-16 finals will also be held between two State players Adrika Rajkumari and Tania Kumari.

Results: Boys U-18 singles(Semi Final) Manav Hariraj (KA) Beat Ved Aditya Kalita (AS) 6-0, 6-1. Girls U-18 singles (Semi Final) Bishnupriya Borgohain (AS) Beat Anshita Shukla (AS) 5-7, 6-0, 6-4.

Boys U-16 singles (Semi Final): Antariksh Tamuly (AS) Beat Manan Nath (AS) 6-3, 7-6(6), Parthiv Kalita (AS) Beat Aayan Sarma (AS) 6-1, 7-5. Girls U-16 singles (Semi Final): Tania Kumari (AS) Beat Nistha P Bezbaruah (AS) 6-1, 6-0, Adrika Rajkumari (AS) Beat Samriddha Basu (WB) 7-6(5), 4-6, 6-1. Boys Doubles U-18 (Semi Final): Manav Hariraj (KA) / Akhil Mattaparthi (MH) Beat Harshad Borah (AS) / Jigyashman Hazarika (AS) 6-2, 7-5.
