Nordea Open: Pablo Carreno Busta reaches Bastad semi final

BASTAD: Spain's Pablo Carreno Busta came up with one of the best performances of his season on Friday, packing off third seed Diego Schwartzman in straight sets at the Nordea Open here.

Carreno Busta despatched his Argentine opponent, 6-1, 6-0 to reach the semifinals of the ATP Tour event. The 31-year-old will face Francisco Cerundolo in his second semifinal of the season after the Argentine sunk Aslan Karatsev 7-5, 6-1 in one hour and 34 minutes.
