About NFR

The Northeast Frontier Railway (abbreviated NFR), is one of the 18 railway zones of the Indian Railways. It is headquartered in Maligaon, Guwahati in the state of Assam, and is responsible for the operation and expansion of the rail network all across Northeastern states and some districts of eastern Bihar and northern West Bengal. The departmental set up at the headquarters level and divisional set up in the field assists the General Manager in running the railways. Various departments namely engineering, mechanical, electrical, signal & telecom, operations, commercial, safety, accounts, security, personal, and medical are headed by a Senior Administrative Grade / Higher Administrative Grade officer, providing technical and operational support to the divisions in train operations. Northeast Frontier Railway Invites Tenders for the balance work of ca no. con/bs/2501 dated 07.12.2018 for the work of earthwork in cutting to form formation and earthwork in filling to form embankment and construction of minor bridges, retaining wall, approach road to alignment, pucca side drains etc. including all other ancillary works at sairang station in between ch.49200 m to 49600m, 49750m to 50400m, 50550m to 50740m and 51050 m to 51162.5m in connection with "balance work of untouched patches of ca no. con/bs/2215 dated 09.05.2016" including balance quantity of earthwork & protection work in between ch. 49100m to 49200m in connection with construction of new bg railway line between bairabi to sairang (mizoram).
