Assam tableau to showcase rich cultural heritage at Republic Day in New Delhi

GUWAHATI: On the occasion of Republic Day-2020 cultural programme at New Delhi, Assam is showcasing its Xattriya tradition in the form of ‘Bhortal Nritya’ discovered by renowned Xattriya artiste Narahari Burha Bhakat. The State tableau will showcase the rich cultural heritage of the State, emphasizing the bamboo and cane products along with handloom and textile.
