Bars, parlours & night clubs shut in Assam due to coronavirus scare

GUWAHATI: Dispur has brought more areas under restrictions as precautionary measures for effective prevention/contamination of coronavirus within the State.

All bars, pubs, night clubs, beauty parlours, saloon (unisex) etc will remain closed till further orders with immediate effect from Wednesday.

The development came following two circulars issued by the Excise department and the Home and Political department of the State.

The DCs as well as the Superintendents and Deputy Superintendents of Excise have been asked to take immediate action accordingly.
