GUWAHATI: Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Monday welcomed the Bodo Agreement saying that the pact would be implemented while keeping the territorial integrity of Assam intact. All the clauses in the Agreement would be executed with the support of all stakeholders and no community living in Assam should be worried about the agreement. “This Bodo Agreement would give respect to all and the Bodo community must proceed towards implementation of the Agreement while taking everyone along,” he said.
Saying that the people from all sections of the society have been extending their support to the State government’s initiatives to make Assam terrorism-free, the Chief Minister stated that “this Agreement would play a crucial role in the peace-building process.” He also encouraged the young generation to contribute towards the developmental measures. He also thanked the ABSU, the NDFB and all other organisations for signing the Agreement.
