Karimganj Police Arrested Former DC Pradip Kumar Talukdar For LPAI

GUWAHATI: Former Deputy Commissioner of Karimganj, Pradip Kumar Talukdar, was arrested here on Saturday night by Karimganj Police in connection with the Land Port Authority of India (LPAI) case number 756/19 under Section 120 (B)/420/468/471/409 IPC and 19 other cases. Pradip Kumar Talukdar has been allegedly involved in manipulation during land acquisition for LPAI at Karimganj. Earlier, he was suspended on July 19, 2019 when he was working at the Cooperative Department in Guwahati. Meanwhile, three others were already arrested in Karimganj with reference to these cases.
