20 die of COVID-19 in Assam on Sunday, 1,213 new cases detected

GUWAHATI: Twenty people died of the COVID-19 in the State on Sunday when 1,213 new cases were detected out of 53,848 tests conducted. The overall positivity rate in the State during the day was 2.25 per cent. The recovery rate was 94.56 per cent. Forty new positive cases were detected in Kamrup (M) district during the day.
