2,575 new COVID cases detected across Assam, positivity rate 1.53%

GUWAHATI: As many as 2,575 new COVID-19 positive cases were detected in the State on Monday when 37 people died of the infection. The positivity rate in the State during the day is 1.53 per cent. A total of 172 new cases were detected in the Lakhimpur district, 268 in Golaghat district, 196 in Jorhat and 217 in Kamrup (M).
