2,781 new COVID cases detected in Assam, positivity rate 2.2 %

GUWAHATI: As many as 2,781 new COVID-19 positive cases were detected in the State on Thursday when the positivity rate was 2.2 percent. Thirty-four people died of the COVID-19 in the State during the day. While 249 new cases were detected in the Golaghat district, 228 cases in Sonitpur, 182 in Dibrugarh and 176 cases were detected in Nagaon.
