41 deaths due to COVID-19 across Assam, 4,475 new cases detected

GUWAHATI: Altogether 41 persons succumbed to COVID-19 infection across the State on Tuesday. This is the highest-ever single -day COVID-related casualty in Assam till date. Meanwhile, a total of 4,475 new cases were detected with Kamrup (Metropolitan) district reporting the highest number of 1,417 cases during the last 24 hours.
