71,950 Covaxin and 1,34,700 Covisheild Doses Arrived in Assam

GUWAHATI: The shortage of Covaxin in the State eased to an extent on Tuesday when 71,950 of its doses and 1,34,700 Covisheild doses arrived in the State. Both the vaccines are meant for the inoculation of people in the age group of 18-45 years. The State Government took a decision not to give Covaxin for the first dose to any person to make the vaccine available for the people needing the second dose.
