8,339 COVID-19 positive cases; 15 die in Assam

GUWAHATI: The COVID-19 caseload in the State saw a significant jump on Wednesday as 8,339 positive cases were detected. Along with the number of cases, the number of fatalities has also increased. The number of deaths was 15. The overall positivity rate is 12.89 per cent. In Kamrup (M) district alone, 1,929 positive cases were detected today.
