989 fresh COVID-19 cases detected in Assam on Saturday, positivity rate 0.92%

GUWAHATI: As many as 989 fresh COVID-19 cases were detected in the State on Saturday when 19 people died of the pandemic. While the positivity rate in the State during the day was 0.92 per cent, the recovery rate was 96.72 per cent. The highest number of positive cases was 160 in Kamrup Metro district. It was followed by Golaghat with 55 cases, Kamrup (R) with 66 and Nalbari with 50 cases.
